Application
The item is highly accurate adult skin temperature sensor.
1. Prepare the skin for adhesive pad by removing body oils and hair.
2. Verify the compatibility of the temperature probe, interface cable, and patient monitor before use.
3. Remove the skin temperature sensor from its package.
4. Peel off release liner and apply sensor with probe cover to patient's skin.
5. Correct the temperature probe to the appropriate reusable cable from Jingpu. Connector the cable to the temperature monitor. Secure the cable using the drape clip.
6. Follow the directions for use of the patient temperature monitor instrument.
7. When temperature monitoring is completed, carefully remove adhesive cover from patient's skin.
8. Disconnect the probe (at the connector) and discard the probe. To disconnect, grasp both connectors firmly and pull. Do not pull on cable or wire.
9. Dispose of probe according to facility protocol.
