There’re two types of temperature probe for medical temperature sensors, one is resusable temperature probe, and the other one is disposable temperature probe. The temperature probe is also be customized, for example epoxy encapsulation, metal disk, PVC sleeve etc. Generally speaking, the regular resistance value 2.252kΩ, 10kΩ, 20kΩ and 50kΩ. In special requirement, we also can customized your temperature probe specification. For different measuring applications, there are options in skin/surface and esophageal/rectal probe types for adult pediatric, neonatal. The medical temperature sensor is accurate to 0.1℃ over the measurement range of 25℃ to 45℃. They’re interchangeable to YSI400 series medical temperature sensor.
