The adult skin sensor consists of a temperature-sensing wire set with an adhesive probe cover that facilitates application to the paitent's skin surface. The temperature monitoring sensor located at the distal end of the wire is affixed to the center of the disk-shaped foam pad, which has a reflective backing and an adhesive layer to hold the sensor in place.

Direction for Use
1. Prepare the skin for adhesive pad by removing body oils and hair
2. Verify the compatibility of the temp probe, interface cable, and patient monitor before use.
3. Remove the skin temperature sensor from its package
4. Peel off release liner and apply for sensor with probe cover to patient's skin
5. Connect the temperature probe to the appropriate reusable cable from Jingpu. Connector the cable to the temperature monitor. Secure the cable using the drape clip.
6. Follow the directions for use of the patient temperature monitor instrument.
7. When temperature monitoring is completed, carefully remove adhesive cover from patient's skin.
8. Disconnect the probe (at the connector) and discard the probe. To disconnect, grasp both connectors firmly and pull. Do not pull on cable or wire
9. Dispose of probe according to facility protocol.
